Can I be able to make real money at home by internet marketing?

Does internet marketing such as working with affiliate programs work? I know some are scams. But do you know of any that is not a scam?

You need to send your resume out to real jobs you are qualified to do.

In your cover letter you need to state that you wish to work remotely, from your home office. LOTS of companies, especially in CA operate this way. They usually provide transportation for you to come in for an interview and for you to attend company meetings a few times a year, but otherwise everything is done online.

Do you have to take the physical fitness test before or during the Philadelphia police academy?

I took the philadelphia police test, and wanted to know do you take the physical fitness test before the academy or during the philadelphia police academy? Also what would they do if you are underweight?

Any agency that will potentially hire you will mandate you pass a physical agility test. They will also send you in for a comprehensive physical exam. Reason? Because for you to be covered by the local pension plan, you can not have any existing pre-employment defect that would prevent you from preforming your duties and put them in a position of liability.

As for underweight. You need to carb up as much as possible. Lots of fruits, pasta, rice and moderate exercise.
Maybe also see your doctor and express your concerns about your weight and see if they can recommend diet supplements that are safe and effective for your needs.

How do you share holidays with your family and the inlaws?

My husband and I have families that live in the same area. Our parents live about 30 min apart from each other. However holidays are such a pain planning. How does your family split holidays and if you live in the same town what would you do if they planed say Thanksgiving dinner at the same time. (keep in mind there are siblings and extended families aunts uncles ect.) not just my parents and his parents. How does your family share or do holidays?

When I was a kid we had (including my parents) three sets of aunts and uncles who would take turns each Christmas hosting the dinner at their respective houses, a kind of rotation if you will.

Since most of my aunts and uncles have passed away (one aunt left, and my parents are still here) Christmas dinner seems to have gravitated to my oldest cousin who seems to want it that way anyway, and my side of the family goes to her house every year now.

As for my wife’s family, well my wife wants to spend Christmas dinner with her family this year, so we will probably drop by my cousins house for a while in the evening after we finish dinner at her sisters house and say Merry Christmas to everyone there.

We get around the gift distribution issue by making sure that all of the gifties have been put under the recipients tree before Christmas morning. That is usually done on Christmas Eve where we run around exchanging packages until everyone has their gifts ready for Christmas Day. Like you all of our families live in the same city, so no one gets left out due to vast distances.
The only issue then seems to be whom to visit first, and to pack in enough visits on Christmas Day so that no one gets all bent out of shape.

Personally I don’t know what the big deal is. We all live in the same city, and there’s 364 other days in the year we can visit.

What is the best business degree to choose?

I’m currently attending college and taking science classes, because I was thinking about majoring in Biology. But, now I’m thinking about seeking a degree in business instead. It’s just that I really don’t know the difference between a degree in business administration, business management, and etc. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
What gets you the most money?

depends on the majors, there are 11 main majors with bachelor of business. and you have to have a concentration aside from the core. just choose by yourself:

1. Accounting: designed for students seeking careers as professional accountants or in any financial area of business. The course combines sound accounting principles with practical business applications.

2. Business Law: supports students’ employability in careers such as accounting, management and marketing.

3. Economics: designed for students intending to pursue a career as business economists or economic consultants or in a wide range of corporate management roles.

4. Electronic Commerce: designed for students seeking careers in electronic commerce, information systems and mainstream business disciplines.

5. Finance: designed for students who propose to follow a career in finance. Graduates in finance are to be found in stockbroking, investment management, financial advisory roles and the finance division of all types and sizes of companies.

6. Human Resource Management: provides the theoretical and practical foundations for a human resource management practitioner.

7. Industrial Relations: designed for students who wish to acquire specialist skills for a career in industrial relations or human resource management in the public or private sphere or in trade unions. It is only available in conjunction with a Major in Human Resource Management.

8. Information Systems: designed for students seeking careers in information systems and mainstream business disciplines.

9. International Business: designed for students intending to pursue a business career with an international focus.

10. Management: designed to prepare students for a future in management and focuses on understanding people at work and how organisations operate.

11. Marketing: designed to provide appropriate education for students seeking a wide range of positions in the marketing, sales and marketing communications sector.

Baseball fans: What exactly is a changeup? How is it different from a breaking ball?

I’m a little embarassed to ask this question as I’ve been a baseball fan all my life!

Okay….

The difference is in the throwing mechanics and the action of the ball.

A breaking ball is a general term for any pitch where the ball has movement. A curveball and slider are both breaking balls. For a curve the movement is typically down and for a slider it is to the the side.

A change up is when you make the same pitching motion as a fast ball, but due to the grip, the ball travels much slower (i.e. fastball might be 90 mph, a change up is 75 mph). It throws the timing of the batter off.
